Rich Dad, Poor Dad + Harry Potter info.

Hi all! I know we didn't chat much on here about Mr. Potter but I think we did SO well chatting on book club night there wasn't too much left to say. Although I could chat Potter for centuries! Quick FYI; there is an incredibly fascinating book called "Finding God in Harry Potter" by John Granger (no relation to Hermione) hee hee. I thought it would just be a quick, frivolous read but it is truly amazing! I lent the audio book to Rachel and she really likes it so let me know if any of you would like to borrow it as well. It takes about 4 hours to listen to. Anyhoo, I was wondering if anyone has "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" they wouldn't mind loaning to me? I'm running around walking pups all day so I don't mind swinging by to pick it up or I will be at mutual on Wednesday night as well. Thanks!

Two things: I think the book you mentioned is actually titled Looking For God in Harry Potter, and my opinion of it is that it's AMAZING! I love HP and have always felt good reading it and that JK Rowling is teaching good things while telling a fascinating story, but this book shows that there is so much more Christian symbolism than you could ever imagine. The layers and layers of meaning in nearly every single character, name, beast, etc. is mind boggling. Rowling is truly an amazing artist! This book is SO, SO, worth reading. And again, for anyone who hasn't read HP, I think this is another compelling reason to read them. In my humble opinion.

I am SO in need of sleep, I swear! Thanx Rachel for fixing my brain fart! I'm sitting here saying "Oh I love this book, I love it...uh what's the name of it again?" yikes! :)

I didn't mean to be a know-it-all. I just wanted to make sure we had the correct title in case anyone went looking for it. And I totally understand being sleep deprived!

You totally aren't a know-it-all, you rock girl, I don't know how you do it. I have already screwed up a couple folks and sent them looking for the wrong book title...eeek! I would actually buy this book so that I could reference it as I read the Potter books again. There was so much to absorb! I wish I would have had this when I lived in Nashville. Lots of HP haters. :)
